For some odd reason, Silent Hill 2 was chosen to be remade. With already a million sold, it’s safe to say that the remake was a success. As always, success in the corporate world of entertainment means more releases. Should Silent Hill be Remade?
Silent Hill rose to popularity as the opposite of Resident Evil. Released in 1999, it was Konami’s way of releasing horror to the world like Capcom did with Resident Evil. Silent Hill was developed by Konami.
Silent Hill is famous for its psychological terror, challenging survival tactics (there are no machine guns, magnums, or grenade launchers to defend yourself with), and claustophobic environment.Â
Unfortunately, Silent Hill lost its way by the third game while Resident Evil kept going strong; currently, the world is waiting on edge for the announcement of Resident Evil 9. But since Silent Hill 2 was a successful remake, should Silent Hill be next to remake or should a new Silent Hill be remade?
